CyrusOne DFW4 — Allen, Texas
Overview
TYPE3’s map data lists CyrusOne DFW4 - Allen in Allen, with CyrusOne Data Centers as operator, `Announced` status, and 0 MW. CyrusOne’s current Allen page identifies a campus containing DFW3 and DFW4, with DFW5 held as landbank for future development. The same page reports 77 MW of IT capacity for DFW3 and DFW4 together and 976,000 square feet of technical space at full build-out. Those are parent and combined-child scopes, not a DFW4-only availability measure.
Texas TDLR project TABS2024002257 identifies “Cyrusne DFW4 | Shell & Upfit” at Chelsea Boulevard in Allen. Its registered scope describes a new single-story data center with a two-story office component totaling 126,005 square feet, a $31.5 million estimated cost, and a September 2024 completion target; the project status is `Review Complete`. TDLR does not publish a current IT-load or tenant-availability schedule.
A review-complete record is not proof of an operating certificate, commissioned data hall, or energized customer load.
DFW4 is a regulatory and campus child record, not a slice of the 77 MW that can be marketed independently. CyrusOne has not published construction completion, commissioned critical IT, tenant commitments, utility allocation, or current orderable capacity. Keep DFW4 separate from DFW3, DFW5 landbank, and the Allen parent’s full-build technical-space figure.
