ColoCrossing DFW1 — Dallas, Texas
Overview
ColoCrossing’s current DFW1 page identifies its Dallas datacenter at 3004 Irving Boulevard, Dallas, Texas 75247. The operator describes DFW1 as supporting high-density private cabinets and cages with reliable power and cooling, a diverse-path fiber ring, carrier connectivity, and services including colocation, dedicated servers, cloud hosting, managed networks, monitoring, remote hands, and disaster recovery. Its page lists Zayo and TierPoint in the Dallas network and says further connectivity options exist onsite.
The location section reports 68,000 square feet, a 2000 commissioning year, 11.1 MW of utility power capacity, 100% redundant power, six diesel-powered generators at 2 MW capacity each, fully redundant HVAC with roof-mounted condensers, and 100 Gbps network capacity. These are separate source fields. Utility power capacity is not critical IT load or live consumption, and generator nameplate capacity should not be added to the utility figure. The operator’s uptime and high-density language also describes the service offering; it does not establish current customer vacancy.
TYPE3’s announced/zero-MW seed is incomplete relative to the current facility page. DFW1 should receive a separate canonical page keyed to the operator code and Irving Boulevard address, with internal links to the broader Dallas colocation page. It should not be merged with Cogent’s generic Dallas row merely because both involve Dallas facilities or share a nearby address family. For buyers, the page’s strongest factual value is the combination of exact address, facility size, typed utility capacity, network capacity, redundancy, and service scope. Current cabinet or cage availability remains an operator-confirmed field.
