Cologix DAL2 — Infomart Enterprise Hall

TYPE3’s map data gives DAL2, DAL1, and DAL3 identical Dallas coordinates and the same announced / 0 MW pattern from DataCenterMap. Cologix’s Dallas hub identifies three technology-forward Dallas data centers at 1950 North Stemmons Freeway, more than 53,000 square feet of colocation space, a Cologix-controlled Infomart Meet-Me-Room, and cloud on-ramps including AWS Direct Connect and Azure ExpressRoute. DAL2 is the enterprise data center. Its spec sheet describes enterprise positioning, 2N UPS and generator design, redundant feeds from three utility substations, and access to 50-plus unique networks in the Cologix MMR. Older DAL2 sheets cite 12,000 square feet for the hall and 40,000 square feet across two Infomart facilities before DAL3; hall identity is more reliable than a frozen square-footage total. The suite remains inside the Dallas Infomart building.

DAL2 is one suite inside Infomart, which also houses Equinix, DataBank DFW5, and other operators. Cologix’s MMR is an interconnection product, not evidence that DAL2 is only a meet-me-room. The cited current marketing pages do not disclose a DAL2 hall MW, and DAL3’s 2.25 MW does not transfer to DAL2. TYPE3’s announced status is stale. DAL1 and DAL3 remain sibling suites, while cabinet density and 2N design describe infrastructure rather than load.
