CyrusOne’s 13 January 2026 release says DFW7 is under construction in Fort Worth, uses existing high-voltage transmission and substation capacity adjacent to the site, and colocates with Chisholm Grid, a 100 MW BESS in commercial operation since 2021, about seven miles northwest of downtown Fort Worth. CEO copy says large-scale capacity beginning in 2026. DCD (14 January 2026) restates about 70 MW of IT capacity for the facility and the 200 MW campus partnership frame. 100 MW BESS is generation/storage, not IT load. DataCenters.com “DFW7 – Allen” geography is wrong.
