DataBank DFW3/DFW8 Campus — Plano
Overview
DataBank’s map data entry uses Dallas as the market label, places the row in Dallas County, and records 40 MW with a 16-acre dual-Oncor note. The operating address is 8375 Dominion Parkway, Plano, TX 75024. DataBank’s Plano campus page lists DFW3 and DFW8 at that address: 72,230 IT square feet and 12 MW critical IT for DFW3; 126,000 IT square feet and 40 MW critical IT for DFW8; campus totals of 198,230 IT square feet and 54 MW critical IT; and dual feeds from an off-site Oncor substation. DataBank’s Dallas metro page instead cites dual Oncor feeds totaling 40 MW. Those are separate power layers.
DFW3 provides 12 MW of critical IT and reports carrier counts of 43 on the live page, 40 in a Q4 2025 datasheet, and 41 on the current facility page. DFW8 is the attached expansion, while the DataBank Plano Campus encompasses both facilities. DFW8’s facility page carries a “Coming Soon” highlight with 40.5 MW of critical IT power in video copy, so 40 MW describes expansion design, not proof that 40 or 54 MW is energized. Red Oak DFW9–DFW12 figures do not belong to this campus. The Dallas County pin is a market-level seed, not the Plano street location.
Questions
Is this campus in Dallas or Plano?
The buildings are at 8375 Dominion Parkway in Plano. “Dallas” is a market label; the street identity is Plano.
Does the campus have 40 MW or 54 MW?
DataBank’s campus page sums 12 MW (DFW3) and 40 MW (DFW8) to 54 MW critical IT. Other DataBank copy cites 40 MW Oncor feeds. Neither number is measured load.
Should DFW3 and DFW8 have separate pages?
Yes. DFW3 and DFW8 are separate facilities at the Plano campus, and separating their capacity figures prevents triple counting.

This state sits outside ERCOT and outside the survey. Sponsoring one funds the work of charting it — pulling its interconnection queue, large loads, and price data onto the map.
