Flexential Dallas-Plano Data Center
Overview
TYPE3’s map data marks Flexential Dallas - Plano Data Center announced at 0 MW with a generic DataCenterMap description and Plano coordinates. Flexential’s current facility page identifies 3500 East Plano Parkway, Plano, TX 75074; Generation-4 design; a 261,425-square-foot data-center footprint; 18 MW critical power / critical-load UPS capacity; distributed redundant 4:3 UPS; N+1 cooling; 1,500 W/sf density language; and 100% SLA on power, cooling, network, and bandwidth. A July 2026 Flexential release on the Talty land purchase says the company’s three existing Dallas-area data centers, Downtown, Plano, and Richardson, encompass more than 459,000 square feet and 28.4 MW. That confirms Plano as an existing site, but 28.4 MW is not Plano’s own figure. The East Plano Parkway address identifies the operating facility in Plano, not a planned campus.
Plano’s 18 MW is the UPS/critical-load rating for this building, not customer availability and not a sum with Richardson’s 3.75 MW or Downtown’s 6.66 MW. Talty’s planned 36 MW first phase and 108 MW campus potential are separate. Richardson, Downtown, and Talty are separate Flexential facilities with their own addresses and capacity evidence. The status is operating, while TYPE3’s map data 0 MW is stale. Liquid-cooling and 80 kW-plus cabinet marketing describe density, not campus megawatts.
Questions
Is Flexential Plano a planned site?
No. Flexential currently markets it as a live Dallas-Plano data center and counted it among three existing DFW facilities in July 2026.
Does Plano have 18 MW of IT load?
Flexential publishes 18 MW of critical-load UPS capacity for the building. That is an infrastructure rating, not a measured load or available-to-sell figure.
Is this the same campus as Talty?
No. Talty is a planned Kaufman County campus. Plano is the existing Generation-4 building on East Plano Parkway.

This state sits outside ERCOT and outside the survey. Sponsoring one funds the work of charting it — pulling its interconnection queue, large loads, and price data onto the map.
