QTS South Dallas DC1 — 303 Mason Road
Overview
TYPE3’s map data lists QTS South Dallas DC1 in Lancaster with QTS Data Centers as operator, Announced status, and 0 MW. The note only points at a Lancaster/QTS profile. Live coordinates are 32.58723, -96.69647. TDLR prints 303 Mason Road, Dallas, TX 75146; same ZIP as DC2’s Wilmer line. Keep Dallas/Wilmer/Lancaster as border labels, not three campuses.
DCD, citing Dallas Morning News, describes a two-story 413,725-square-foot building in the Lancaster area of Dallas County and $288 million. It separately describes QTS Irving at 6431 Longhorn Drive (147 MW campus; DC1&2 75.2 MW; DC3 43 MW). Those Irving figures must not land on South Dallas DC1. DataCenterMap still carries older $180 million / April 2024–September 2025 copy that conflicts with TDLR’s $288 million and November 2024–December 2025 dates; prefer TDLR. TYPE3’s map data power field stays 0 MW.
This row is the first child, not the SEO-032 parent and not DC2/DC3. Do not sum TDLR floor area or dollars into parent capacity. QTS has not established whether the shell data hall is fitted, what critical-IT design applies, or whether any IT is energized or quoteable. Preserve Announced / 0 MW. DataCenterMap’s older cost and date paste stays labeled stale against TDLR.
Questions
Is DC1 already the 72 MW hall?
No. 72 MW is a hawk suggestion cited by DCD. TDLR does not disclose wattage.
Is this QTS Irving DC1?
No. Irving DC1/DC2/DC3 sit on Longhorn Drive. This DC1 is DFW2 on Mason Road.
Should parent pages add DC1’s 413,726 square feet?
No. Parent and child scopes stay separate. Floor area and dollars are filing layers, not campus IT.

This state sits outside ERCOT and outside the survey. Sponsoring one funds the work of charting it — pulling its interconnection queue, large loads, and price data onto the map.
