Equinix DA3 — Dallas Colocation and Interconnection

DA3 is an Equinix IBX location in the Dallas Infomart building. Equinix’s current page identifies the address as 1950 North Stemmons Freeway, Suites 1039A and 2048, Dallas, Texas 75207, and lists 25,866 square feet of colocation space. It describes N+1 power and cooling redundancy, 30 hours or more of generator autonomy at full load, security controls, and products such as private cages, high-density cooling, Smart Hands, cross-connects, Metro Connect, Equinix Internet Exchange, Equinix Fabric, and Network Edge.

The building relationship matters for search and facility accounting. Equinix’s Infomart acquisition material identifies DA1, DA2, DA3, and DA6 as separate Equinix locations occupying the larger building. DA3 should therefore have its own canonical page keyed to the IBX code and suites, while the Infomart parent record explains the building and interconnection ecosystem. Shared coordinates do not justify merging the records or summing their space or power.

TYPE3’s announced/zero-MW value is not consistent with Equinix’s current service page, but the correction should not invent a total MW number. Square footage, redundancy, and a global uptime statement do not establish utility service, critical IT load, customer occupancy, or available cabinets. This page is valuable for enterprise network, cloud, and colocation discovery because the DA3 code and Stemmons suites answer the address-level identity question directly. Any current availability or quote should remain an Equinix-confirmed field.
