Equinix DA9 — Irving, Texas

TYPE3’s map data lists Equinix DA9 as announced retail colocation in Irving at 0 MW, with a seed already using Equinix’s “newest location in Irving” line. Current Equinix pages confirm a live IBX. The DA9 site page and 2024 technical specifications give 2222 East Grauwyler Road, Irving, TX 75061, 36,554 square feet (3,396 square meters) of colo space, N+1 UPS and generator redundancy, 30-hour-plus generator autonomy at full load, 120/208 V distribution, and the same certification family as other Dallas IBXs. Equinix’s Dallas index lists DA9 beside DA1–DA4, DA6, DA7, and DA11. That is current interconnection and colo service, not an announced project.

Do not collapse Irving identities. Cogent’s Irving data center sits at 2511 East Grauwyler Road, nearby but not in the same building. DA7 is Plano. Infomart DA1/DA2/DA3/DA6 remain Stemmons suites. DA11 and DA12 are separate records. Aggregator building-size figures around 122,205 square feet describe a larger shell or retrofit and must not replace Equinix’s 36,554-square-foot colo number or be turned into MW. Cabinet density here is a 2 kVA minimum, unlike DA7’s 6 kVA minimum; keep those densities on their own pages. Status is a current Equinix IBX, not an announced Irving campus. Colo square footage and N+1 labels are design/capacity fields, not measured load or vacant kW.
