Stargate Site 1 is the Crusoe campus at Lancium’s Clean Campus in Abilene, Taylor County. TYPE3’s map data calls it operating and lists 1,200 MW, with 2025 as both the announcement and operational year. Crusoe’s first-party announcement gives a narrower live milestone: the first two buildings went live on 30 September 2025, covering 980,000 square feet and supporting 200 MW-plus of IT. Construction began in June 2024, and Oracle began delivering NVIDIA GB200 racks in June 2025 for early training and inference workloads.
The wider design is an eight-building campus of about 1.2 GW, with six additional buildings in a second phase. That planned campus figure is not proof that 1,200 MW is energized today. An April 2026 Oracle comment reported by Epoch AI still pointed to about 200 MW operational. A reported Microsoft lease of remaining Crusoe capacity is secondary context and is not a current tenant fact.
The useful distinction is between live IT, planned campus power, and any adjacent generation. The Stargate program’s $500 billion headline is not a site MW figure.
